The best drying method for bulk production involves considerable airflow in addition to a temperature not exceeding 130 degrees Fahrenheit. This results in a moderate engagement torque, with no distinct breakaway torque and a slow, fluid release as the material cold flows. The standard coating length is 1-1/2 times the diameter, and the thread fill requirement is 30 - 50% of the thread root area.
